After studying music, literature and

photography at the University of Miami,

David began assisting photographers as

Miami came to be the primary shooting

location for fashion in the early 90's.

The first three photographers he

worked with were Bensimon,

Demarchelier and Reinhardt. He spent

another six years honing his craft as a

first assistant in New York before

opening shop for himself. Trained to

shoot technically unforgiving E6 film, he

was an early adopter of digital capture

with the Dicomed and Sinar 4x5 systems.  David is still shooting

large format film portraits for personal work. He has traveled the

world extensively through photography and during his time spent

under contract with Epic records as lead guitarist with rock band

The Damnwells.
